Encore aujourd’hui c’est un choix privilégié par la plupart des pilotes de haut niveau dans les championnats nationaux comme internationaux. Ce kit filtre à air + cage intérieur TWIN AIR Polaris 400/500/700/800 est accompagné d’une cage en aluminium. Elle est spécialement conçue et adapté au modèle du tout-terrain et de chaque marque de Quad.

Le filtre à air protège le moteur en retenant les impuretés du flux d’air entrant dans le moteur. C’est en quelque sorte le poumon de votre moteur. La pièce se positionne devant l’admission d’air du moteur. Elle assure une bonne qualité du mélange air-carburant qui intègre les cylindres via les soupapes. Sur certains modèles de grosses cylindrées, on peut trouver deux filtres à air.

Attention. Si vous gardez un filtre à air encrassé, vous endommagez fortement les conduits internes du moteur. Et cela entraîne des dysfonctionnements tels que la surconsommation, la pollution, jusqu’à  contribuer à  une panne moteur voir casse moteur !
